American Idol
Tia Casey, 19, of Hamilton advances to the second round cuts of the American Idol auditions in St. Louis, MO. Between 5,000 and 6,000 hopefuls auditioned for a chance to go before the celebrity judges for the American Idol show which airs on the Fox network. Tia Casey, was one of 360 who advanced to the second round cuts.
The auditioners must make it through two auditions before they get the chance to be judged by Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe Edward Jones Dome
Miss Ohio Pageant (November 2004)
Tia has been awarded the title: Miss Butler County USA Tia Marie Casey of Hamilton will compete for the title of MISS OHIO USA the weekend of November 13, 14 & 15, 2004.
The competition is being held at the Vern Riffe Center For The Arts on the Campus of Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. Tia is the daughter of Ray and Fiora Casey and is a student at Miami University . Friends are welcome to attend the pageant to support Tia.
You may call the Vern Riffe Center For The Arts Box Office for ticket information at 740-351-3600. The young woman chosen as MISS OHIO USA goes on to represent the state in the MISS USA Pageant LIVE on National Network Television, and compete for over $100,000.00 in cash and prizes .
